Short version: your nutrition data never leaves your device.
The analyzer runs entirely in your browser (client-side JavaScript). The CSV you upload or paste is read locally, processed locally, and discarded when you close the tab. It is never transmitted to us or anyone else — you can verify this in your browser’s network inspector, or use the tool offline once loaded.
If you choose to join the update list, we store your email address (with a timestamp) for one purpose: telling you about new NutriGap features. No marketing for third parties, no selling, no sharing. Every email we send will include an unsubscribe option, and you can request removal at any time by replying to any of our emails.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We use privacy-respecting, cookieless aggregate analytics (page counts) only — no advertising trackers, no fingerprinting, no cookies.
NutriGap is an educational tool. Reference values are general adult NIH RDA/AI values; individual needs vary with health conditions, pregnancy, and medication. It is not a substitute for advice from a doctor or registered dietitian.
